I don't think the culture war breaks down quite the way you think. It seems to me you can have a religious jew, a moral atheist, or even a moderate muslim all on the same side of this war for different reasons. You don't have to be born again to have an objective moral standard. It seems to me that C.S. Lewis argued in "Mere Christianity" that the "natural law" (that is the amazing similarities in virtually all men's consciences) is an evidence for God's existence. If all men didn't have this moral standard this argument would be worthless. Rather, the distinction between "us and them" is acceptance of the idea of Truth at all. Yet you do not have to know Him(The Truth) to acknowledge He is there.
