THE ATTACK UPON GOD

Here is my take on religion: I do believe in the theory of evolution. I love science. But it is a THEORY. That doesn't mean it is right.

I am not very spiritual, but I respect those whom are. I don't say that "there is no God," because ya know what? I haven't found Him yet for myself. Maybe one day I will. That doesn't mean He does not exist. I do believe that faith is healthy and important. I have yet to find my own. I was raised Catholic. I am raising my son Catholic. Like me, when he is older he can explore his own spiritual path.

To quote a really funny comedian named Daniel Tosh: "The guy's got rules! He's like a vampire! You have to let him in!" (about God)

These people have not let him in and they won't because they are cowards and afraid of giving their hearts to a greater cause that they cannot explain and that maybe none of us SHOULD be able to explain.

I'm still trying. But you will note from my blogs that I do have an appreciation for religion, its history in our country, and those whom are actively practicing.

Great blog Jesse!

Here's something you can read that will help you out a lot. Read what Jesus said on the cross, then read Psalm 22. Find out when it was written, and then find out when the Romans came in to introduce crucifixion. There's no explanation out of that when you find what I am getting at. What you said is correct about them not willing to give themselves over to a cause greater than their own self-gratification. I love science too, but what I mostly see from scientists are outrageous claims that are designed only to get them attention. Such as the "man global warming myth", being that they thirty years ago claimed we were in or about to enter an ice age. Now they're even starting to go back to the ice age talk instead of just accepting that the climate goes in cycles.

a fantastic book

called "The Case for Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. Small book with big impact. Uses reason to reach the athiests.

Global Warming is a fabrication.

Honestly, I think it is a conspiracy come up with by the government to keep us under their thumb.

Ok, I'm done conspiracy theorizing now lol
