Looks as if they decided to put the plug back in the swamp, instead of letting it drain. Has he done ANYTHING he said he was going to? Don't seem much like it.

Yeah, it's interesting
Pelosi also made that "most ethical and open" pledge when she took over the House. It was obviously meaningless in her case, too.
The libs love promising that. It makes them feel noble.
What always seems to surprise them is when they're actually called on their inability to live up to their promise. They're so used to getting accolades for the promise itself -- and never being questioned by their sycophants -- that they're like deer in the headlights when the realization strikes that there are a lot of OTHER people who will actually insist on an accounting.

Boy, I can count on you two to show up no ne else does!
And you're both right about these clown making their false promises! Draining the swamp and being transparent went the way of the dodo bird when power was safely in their grubby little mitts! But it's always good entertainment to see Pelosi looking like her face is going to literally crack when she's asked a question about her personal lapses, or those of fellow Dems. But Obama gets downright scary when he's questioned, because he will sic Rahmbo on you, who will in turn set the media onto you. And it is scary to have someone in charge of the government who doesn't seem to really have any qualms about breaking the law to settle personal scores.

Yeah, Bat Ears is
arrogant, no doubt.
That's part of the entertainment value, though. And every time he does that, people notice.
Maybe his arrogance will inject some spine into GOP backsides. That would be nice.

Can't speak for Brian, but I know good, well thought out essays when I read one. CAN'T WRITE one to save my life, but enjoy reading and commenting as best as I'm able. The alliance between gov't and the so-called watchdog media is at best shameful, but IMHO dangerous. The truth about this bunch is there, along with what they want to do,but unfortunately, not enough average Joes and Janes are taking notice. The OLDM sure isn't going to put ANY type of criticism on him,or his programs.THAT is the true travesty here.

one promise he kept
was to kowtow to Europe and meet with every thug-dictator he could find. He promised change, and boy did he ever change America. He promised the roof-perchers he'd take care of them if they voted for him, and he's currently doing his best to 'spread the wealth' around.
One thing he didn't plan on was anyone questioning him about anything. It sure doesn't work that way back here in chitcago. All daley has to say is 'I know nothing.' and everyone drops the subject.

Yeah folks
Chicago politics will not work that well in DC, because even though the old media tries to cover for him, word eventually gets out. But the relationship with the media is very troublesome because they are supposed to keep us abreast of what is happening in government. When they refuse to do it, it creates a situation where the government can operate in secrecy...and that is never a good thing.
MD/MG hits it on the head with the statement that the One has kept several promises...only they are all promises that work to the detriment of our Republic. All his promises of change are coming true, and all of this change is moving us to the left of even the Venezuelans...and that's hard to do!

If bo moves the USA
any further to the left, we all may be happier and more free moving to Canada, Cuba, or Europe. There, at least, they've been here, done that, and are now moving back to the right. I can brush up on my German/Bohemian languages and remigrate back that direction.

Well, Flag
American voters are strange and they vote their ways for some very strange reasons.
I understand about 95% of Blacks voted for Obama which is more understandable than a bunch of reasons I got from my classmates who voted for Kenedy. They ranged from, "Oh, he's so dreamy." to "They make such a cute couple." to reasons it was just the "in" thing to do.
Remember.
If you ever have to go to court...these people are the jury pool!!!!

buck, I'm a bit too young to remember the Kennedy years, but I don't think a lot has changed on that front. Some of the Obama voters were caught up in trying to remake an era that was a total media creation...Camelot. But just like Camelot, this is a media creation that will not stand up to the light of day. Sunlight being the great disinfectant, the Obama administration is going to wilt like a blade of grass in the West Texas sun when the media can no longer protect them.
MD, don't leave! We need every conservative voice out there crying to the world about what's going on and why we need to change it.

This old granny is too old to leave, and Mr. MD knows I won't go anywhere w/o my grandkids. I'll stay and fight this out. Can't see worth poo, so someone will have to give me a cannon to fire or send me to the kitchen to cook for the warriors. Just don't start the war w/o me.

Transparency
I am still looking for the transparency. Where is that? Behind that huge cement block?
Okay, who is the new guy. Is it the Assistant Attorney General. The guy that refuses to make all of his client list public, but guarantees if he makes it, he will recuse himself? WTH!
This administration is dangerous. None of the people are trust worthy at all. The other night I actually had a thought, what if Hillary had won? Yikes! I am having those thoughts and they seem better.

You lost me on the assistant AG agle, could you please enlighten me? I have been caught up watching the Iran and NoKo situations, and the really big story that Mark Sanford actually left Columbia, SC and went hiking! How dare he leave the state capitol without informing everyone in the known universe where he was!
And you aren't alone in wondering "what if?" about Hillary, I have too. I think she would have made a better president than Obama, and I definitely know that she has more balls than he does!
