The problem with your analysis
The problem is that single women are human beings and are Americans. They exist. In America they have an equal right to vote what they think is best for them. You may not like the way they vote, but they are not inferior to you or to anyone else. To think that they are inferior is an elitist mentality.
Th other problem with your analysis is that men who vote Republican are also voting for what they think is best for them. They are no different than single women in this regard. And their votes are no more noble just because you happen to agree with the way they vote.
I'd like to see your intellectual analysis technique tighten up a great deal.

A response to Proud Liberal
Did I ever say single women were not human beings? Did I ever say single women did not have an equal right to vote? Did I say they were inferior? Of course not.
Perhaps a remedial course in reading skills would help you.
Now with regard to how Republicans vote -- both male and female -- generally they are not voting in favor of social programs that take honestly earned wages from productive workers and give it to others who have not earned it. Republicans don't ask the government to pay for the feeding of their kids. They don't ask the government to pay for their medical care. And they certainly don't ask the government to fork over 5K when they have a child. I'd say there is a distinct difference.
