Who decided that we have to register to vote as a member of a party? Why can't we we just register to vote? Same ID, just no affiliation.

As you said Gunny, they have a super majority and if all of the dems agreed with Obama, he would have his socialist, un-Constitutional bills flying through the House and Senate so fast, he would be out of things to do by tomorrow.
He's blaming Republicans so he doesn't have to publicly scold his fellow dems and can maybe still sweet talk them.
Too bad so many of their constituents are dead set against all out socialism. It makes them afraid they won't get re-elected.

I voted for Barr this last election. Virginia does not have party affilations. I will continue to vote Conservative, win, lose, or draw, simply as I will no longer compromise my principles. The GOP wants my vote? Let them put forth Conservatives, not aisle crossers like McShamnesty.

Also of note. Liberals must make ALL of their plans MANDATORY or no one would bother signing up for them. Social SUCKurity is the perfect case-in-point.

Yes, it's HARD for me as well not to tag these foul critters but buck had a major point. If we label these libs as they deserve we may distance possible converts and/or independents from our cause.

It is interesting to note how conservatives are more intellectually honest about the people we end up voting for. Every post from your article that you were able to get from the Daily Kos shows people absolutely fawning over Obama. I did not read one negative comment (not even one that was slightly negative). However every one who posts here and on townhall can honestly say that Bush and McCain have quite a few problems and are not strictly conservative. I myself, thought that Bush's spending (the Medicare pharmacutical bill was hideous) and his stance on illegal immigration (extremely weak) were not anywhere near being conservative. Thank god most conservatives are the type of people who think for themselves.

There is NO DOUBT that we are more intellectually honest than liberals could EVER be.

We criticized Bush for his spending at every turn. Libs are as quiet as church mice on Barry's 4 trillion dollar debt.

1. Ann Coulter said passage of this bill would mean another term for Obama. She cited Clinton's fiasco, the '94 Republican takeover of Congress and the passage of many reform bills including welfare reform which Clinton was dragged kicking and screaming into but then in '96 Clinton campaigned on all the reform bills he had 'passed'. Passage of the bill would lead to a revolution in both houses, repeal of the bill and after that a repeat of the '94-'96 story.
2. "Bezerkley"? "People's Republic of Kalifornia"? I know, it's a harder habit to break than Pall Mall reds were...
3. Blaming Bush. Legal precident: "The absent are always guilty." Blackstone
4. Thing I never could understand was the number of women who were for Hillary just because she was a woman and when she was eliminated they went for Obama...EN MASSE! And these were women who previously I had thought were about half smart. But every time I would try to show Obama's Marxism they would counter with something about Bush they didn't like. Didn't matter we were talking oranges and listening apples....
