Krugman Explains EcoNazism in the Warmest Terms. Tax Tax Tax

Didn’t you get memo?

The debate’s over. Now shut up and pay your tax.

Just replace Enron with “GE” and change the names of the officials. There is TONS of money at stake here. And that cash will come back to the dems and Obama in the form of campaign contributions.

Power And Wealth

Ryck, that is what this is all about. Quite frankly, I hope the Left "over steps" and a revolution procedes from this overstepping.

The people of the US MUST be sufficiently "p*ssed" so that they actively rise up. The number who "start the dance" must be significant (i.e., over 2 million). Until then, the Left will be very cautious in how they proceed. They realize that they will be destroyed when and if the uprising occurs.

pay your tax.

...Yes, I got the memo--it was called the Declaration of Independence and it complained about unfair taxes and the use of savages by the government.

Both are back........

Leftist Power and Wealth

Gray Ghost writes: " I hope the Left "over steps" and a revolution procedes from this overstepping." That is likely.

Some months from now inflation will start to soar and then Paul Volker will come back [maybe as the Ghoast of Goodtimes Past and tell us that we have to raise interest rates. It is starting already as the long bond [30 yr] rate just went up to 4% from 3% so somebody is figgering in inflation into the business horizon.

I think the anti-left revolution will start in England where Gordon Brown has destroyed the UK's finances with massive spending and cap and trade taxes.

From the Brit Liam Halligan:

"The UK will soon have a budget deficit of 15pc of GDP. The Government will be selling gilts equivalent to 20pc of our national income for at least three successive years. To say this is the worst fiscal crisis in this country's peace-time history is an understatement. We're now in banana republic territory." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment/liamhalligan/52 62855/Cameron-must-tackle-debt-s-ugly-truths.html

Brown is out of power next year and O'Bozo cannot blame Bush2 forever. Inflation will his on his watch--not George's.

I think ours is bigger deficit problem with the printing presses running.

Krugman is disingenuous, at best. No surprise there.

Solar panels will require massive amounts of land, and water (which should be of more concern) to keep them clean. And transferring that power to the grid will be quite an undertaking as well.

Even Teddy Chappaquidick won't tolerate wind turbines within eye sight of his Martha's Vineyard home. There will be quite a lot of NIMBY going on with that solution.

The cost of this undertaking will be massive, and to think that a tax will be anything but detrimental to the world's economy (if the US pays, everyone ultimately will pay directly or indirectly) is folly.

Krugman's partisanship makes him irrelevant to any informed discussion on any subject.
