Oh my Goodness !!!
I hate hearing these stories. It makes my own heart hurt for these helpless little kids. I think people who hurt kids deserve the death penalty with rapid delivery of same. They, after all, are guilty of soul murder of these little ones......sometimes physical murder. I have absolutely no sympathy for adult brutes who hurt kids; especially mothers; adoptive or bilogical. Where was CPS that two adopted kids were unaccounted for for two years and nobody in authority was aware? Disgusting bureaucratic organization.
Good, but heartwrenching post, Dawn.

Hi, Bobbie!
This is a very heartwrenching post and I appreciate and agree with all of your comments. Everyday some new horror emerges regarding some little child and it causes me no end of distress! My understanding regarding adoption is that after a period of time, two years?, CPS stops checking. I pray that brave little girl who saved herself by jumping out of the window, finds the support, counselling and love she so desperately needs. Because she is 7 or 8, the chances of her finding a loving home are few. She may be destined to live in foster homes until she comes of age.

sad stories
There is nothing that draws my anger more than when children and women are abused. All I can say is I better not see it. Pray for the person that does such things in my presence. These stories sicken me to no end. I think anyone that is convicted of actually abusing their children (something other than normal spanking), they should not only lose their children, but they should also be sterilized. Any man who rapes a woman or child should be exected. If that's too harsh, then life in prison and castration. Nothing else would be acceptable if I ran things. Good of you to bring this to light, Dawndawn. Well done.

Alarming story. I agree with Bobbie, people that hurt children in any form are the worst of the worst and have no value at all.
Thanks for stopping by my place.

Hi, Jesse "The Body"!
Thank you for your very thoughtful comments. Child abuse is far too prevalent and most of the little ones have no advocates to turn to. Sterilization, castration and the death penalty should be the law of the land. Five minutes alone with the perpetrator to inflict some righteous street justice would work for me! Child abusers most often get off with just a slap on the wrist, come out and make more babies to abuse. This cycle should be stopped.

Hi, Michael!
We are all in agreement that these monsters who harm children must be severely punished, by castration, sterilization or death. Reports of child abuse are hard to hear, read or write about. These at risk children need our help and our prayers. Thank you for your comments.

Dawndawn -- sad and sick
Hard to keep my dinner down. I always react that way when I read these things. I know you understand.
I have zero tolerance for abusing/aborting children. It is likely that when this type of abuse happens, the child's spirit has a good chance of being killed. I believe one should pay the same price. May not seem nice, but that is how I feel.
I will continue to pray for these young souls and ask the Lord to RESTORE their childhood to them.

RE: Little Hearts that Hurt
I cannot understand how anyone who is blessed with the care of a child can cause such horrors. If they didnt want the children give them up!. I had a child once, a son, who got brain cancer at age 7 and died at age 9. How and WHY are these beasts allowed to have children only to abuse and or kill them when others would give anything to have them? Liberals would blame society, I blame abject EVIL! It IS real, these stories are good examples it is alive and well. Until our society faces up to the fact this evil is real, children will continue to be abussed and will be left by "The System" in the hands these monsters!!

Hi, Mrs. Always Learning!
Yes, I do understand your feelings very well! The first two blogs I wrote here at TH were about child abuse. They were cathartic to me in expressing the rage I feel toward those monsters who have mistreated and abused children. Thanks so much for reading the post, for your very thoughtful comments and for your continual prayers for these children.

Hi, Kevin!
May I offer my heartfelt condolenses to you for the tragic loss of your little boy. You bear a bitter pain that will never heal.
Thank you for reading this post and your thoughtful comments. Now I am worried that due to the bad economy, people will start selling their children or worse. You are exactly right that child abuse is caused by an abject evil. We can only offer our prayers that these little victims can escape their tormenters and find peace in their lives to raise their own happy families someday.

but I do think the angels come for these babies. I know that God loves them, and I don't believe they are without comfort. I do not believe there is a punishment here on earth that is adequate for these vermin who hurt children, but God will take care of that. Keep reminding people that these little souls are out there and need our prayers.

This sickens me, the abuse of children.
I know that even in prison, those who abuse children have to be protected from the general prison population. Even criminals will try to "even the score" with this type of low life.
Personally I believe that hanging is too good for them.

kids deserve so much better than that. So many children are afraid to tell someone the beatings continue.
There are many evils in this world and child abuse is very high on the list. I also pray for the young children in the middle east who are taught that America is evil, and a suicide bombing will lead them to paradise. Many of those children are sacrificed for evil groups who preach intolerance.
It's something that we cannot ignore.

Hi, Gray Ghost!
The rules should be changed and the scumbags who harm children should be put in the GP and not sequestered in protective custody. Or, grabbed by their throats and have their heads slammed into the wall repeatedly. Hanging is far too good for these despicable maggots. Thank you for your visit, GG, and for your continued prayers for all the children who are at risk.

Hi, Eric!
Yes, there is something instinctive that children do not to tell when abuse occurs! And it is even worse for those who tell children it is okay to wear a bomb into a crowd and blow themselves up. A very sad, desperate culture is upon us. There are no answers or options to stop the cycle of child abuse. There are no boundries anymore. My prayers are for the safety of all our children and for sanity to make a long awaited appearance. Thank you for your visit and for your very thoughtful comments, Eric!

Hi, Jason!
Thanks for coming by and for your comments. It is very sad that this abuse is happening now. I am even more worried and distressed that due to the bad economy, parents will become more uptight, aggressive and cruel to the point of selling their children to either get rid of them or for other nefarious purposes. I pray daily for their safety and protection and for something good to happen to them.
