McCain's VP -- The Right Individual

Vivid array of vps

Thanks for the free-flowing, well-thought through analysis of pics. Certainly would make for a more interesting campaign!

None of the above?

Great Summary, BTW...

I fought in Iowa for Rudy, but VP - no. Would be nice IMO if McCain gives him STATE or DHS to tear down and build back up. THAT would be fun to watch.

I like Palin but agreed, she's probably not been vetted and could pose some problems.

Funny thing is I'm volunteering for a female US Iowa CD2 candidate http://millermeeksforcongress.com and even as a woman myself I find it horrifying that someone would vote for a woman just because she's a woman and we're finding out on the campaign trail that many do vote that way!

Romney is the safe pick and my sense is with "Plugs" as BO's pick, McCain can play it safe. It's also good for McCain to go "against type" and pick someone that is not a buddy... should strengthen work relationships.

Leiberman also belongs a McCain cabinet, unless he gets kicked out of the D caucus and decides to caucus R. He's got 4 more years (right?) and could do us some good there, especially with McCain out of the senate.

WE can't rest - but I think Obama is unelectable and Biden was a good choice for Republicans. Unfortunately, I don't think McCain has coat tails.

An Obama/Clinton ticket, IMO would have been unbeatable, and the rumors of Obama/Edwards (D-Tex, not John) scared me too. Good thing Obama has a history of bad choices in friends; it appears to have spilled over to his VP selection.

Richardson would also have been a good pick for Obama. Too Late!

My dog in this race is still Rudy, but he's not VP material - and I'd almost vote none of the above if allowed.

In 8 years my Candidate (who believes in term limits) would be great as VP (she's an Army veteran, was a nurse, is a doctor, wife, mother, runs her own practice and was the first female president of the Iowa Medical Society - which took caused her to take trips to DC on a regular basis - the place is a mess!) ...

In 2008, I'm expecting McCain to pick Romney.

Holy Veepstakes!

Re-reading your old posts, I'm actually seeing that you picked Palin!!!

totally escaped me until I re-read it, I was so wrapped up in Rudy in my comments I totally forgot about your pushing Palin.

Impressive.
