...poking his finger in the eye of the GOP Base. "The" #1 reason his popularity numbers are so low. Has not a thing to do w/the War in Iraq, the GWOT or WMD's. Since Harriet Meiers the President has openly sought to oppose the Base. Hence the results- 11/7/06 and 11/4/08.
