After reading this rant...
...it is hard to differentiate between you and those you claim to despise.
You bemoan the fact the Right casts the Left as elitest then perpetuate that belief by casting them as uneducated simpletons.
I know of no serious conservative claiming Obama will kill Granny, nor believes the government on the brink of forced homosexuality. These are as unfounded claims as those on the Right worrying about a birth certificate. You are the same as they are.
You claim to believe in freedoms so long as people don't use that freedom to condemn. Unless of course the condemnation is yours.
You invite people who don't share your own vision to move out of the country much the same as the "America, Love It Or Leave It" crowd. You want a country made up of people who think only as you do, so you are different from them how?
You are tolerant of those things you cherish yet have no tolerance for those who will not accept your values.
You have done nothing more than justify the beliefs the Right hold of the Left as short sighted and hypocritical.

As I pointed out before Ray... it's 'you' who obviously cannot handle the truth.
Liberal= root word ''liberty''.. to you, the word liberty is only for those who look, think, and act exactly like you... to liberals, that freedom is for all Americans, regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, or religious belief, as long as that religious belief is not used to deny other citizens their human and civil rights, or to constantly condemn them as ‘going to hell’.
If you want to live a life where everyone follows the same ‘fire and brimstone’ type of religion, and values ignorance and fear of the world around yourself over education and cultural awareness of the world, you should go invent a theocracy on some remote Alaskan island, with Sarah Palin as your high-priestess if you want to force everyone to think like you, but you should also stop calling yourself ‘Americans’ if you want to deny everyone else ‘their’ liberty in personal life and religious freedom.

So, yes... you're right. And right-wing Neo Nazis do tend to approve of your party in general.

Yes I am aware you were speaking of Sarah Palin, although you took the liberties of casting lies about her in the same manner you decry of the Right. She is educated, simply not to your standards. There is no evidence that she is a bigot, her half native husband could possibly attest to that. And I am quite certain she has an awareness of the outside world, whether you care to admit that or not.
I do not watch C-Span, don't live in town so no cable and receive three stations over the air so see no need in satalite. I suppose I am one of the uneducated not worthy of living in your country. Am I allowed to pick the island or will your deportation people do that for me?

We also do not force 'one' view of the world on our citizens as you attempt to do.

As to 'fanatical', I believe it is in your postings where condemnation is justified and people who are not willing to accept a scripted point of view are invited to move to an island.
I am curious to know exactly what the one view of the world is that I have attempted to force upon you. Or is this simply a way of casting general invectives without feeling the need to provide proof. Is this not another trait you claim is used by the Right and deplore?
As to ludicrous remarks and inflamitory theories, would that be similar to saying Bush is tapping all the cell phones or Haliburton is running the war or the 9/11 was an inside conspiracy?
Reality is three dimesional, not a one way street.

What civil rights do homosexuals not have.
I thought people who physically attacked other people for their race or sexual preferance were criminals, are you saying there are no laws regarding this?
Where is the article stating a seperation of church and state?
You are no different, you say you are but you only fool yourself. Perhaps you should get out, possibly see some of those places you dream of.

Observer??? No... you're a hate-monger.
Homosexuals routinely are attacked by the Republican Party, and any hate-crime legislation protecting them is also always attacked by the Republican Party. They cannot get married as heterosexual couples do, and they do not get the same Federal benefits as heterosexual couples do.
They also cannot walk down the main street of their own small home town holding hands as their heterosexual fellow citizens can without the likelihood of being physically attacked.
Not really equality, is it??
I've been subjected to people screaming at me that I was going to hell many times... always people who termed themselves 'conservative' or 'Republican' (These days that's synonymous)
As to separation of church and state:
The Founding Fathers were not blindly religious men, and they fought hard to erect, in Thomas Jefferson's words, "..a wall of separation between church and state." John Adams opined that if they were not restrained by legal measures, Puritans (the Christian fundamentalists of their day) would "whip and crop, and pillory and roast."
The historical epoch had afforded these men ample opportunity to observe the corruption to which established priesthoods were liable, and as Jefferson wrote " the impious presumption of legislators and rulers, civil as well as ecclesiastical, who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world and through all time."

"Our civil rights have no dependance on our religious opinions, any more than our opinions in physics or geometry; that therefore the proscribing any citizen as unworthy the public confidence by laying upon him an incapacity of being called to offices of trust and emolument, unless he profess or renounce this or that religious opinion, is depriving him injuriously of those privileges and advantages to which, in common with his fellow citizens, he has a natural right; that it tends also to corrupt the principles of that very religion it is meant to encourage, by bribing, with a monopoly of worldly honours and emoluments, those who will externally profess and conform to it."

How does hate crime legislation...
...protect any one? A crime upon a person is no more or less a crime whether commited for greed or hatred. The only benifit from hate crime legislation will be realised by the lawyers, once a crime is commited the victim is not "helped" by additional laws.
Homosexual couples are denied procreation by nature, this also may be seen as not being "equal". Do you hold wrath with nature for this. Is not the entire premise of homosexuality that it differs from hetrosexuality, the demand that all be the same while remaining different is absurd.
It is interesting that you quote the words of a slave owner when those words suit your purpose.
And no actually I don't hate. You can only hate, truely hate, that which youi fear. I do notice a good amount of hate seems to be in you however.

I know someone like you cannot understand.
Try to conceptualize the laws that had to be passed in 1964 and 1967 to protect and give equality to African American citizens, and it still took decades for that type of hatred to be severely weakened, although it still obviously flourishes within the Republican base..
We have to go the same route, but because you can only think in abstract terms such as hypothetical 'lawyers making out with a bunch of money' from such legislation... you might as well just stop.
We're just going to have to disagree because you represent the side of Evil, and I stand on the side of Good.

So, you are on the side of Good?
The side of Good wishes to send people to live on islands?
The side of Good hold uneducated people in contempt?
The side of Good condones paying bribes in order to break laws?
This is your Good side?
Name one tangible benifit that arises from hate crime laws. If a man murders another does the hate crime law make that murder worse? Is the victim benifited by it? And it is not hypothetical that lawyers will make more money from this, unless you don't intend to allow people to contest those charges once levied against them. Is this part of being on the Good side also, not allowing someone their day in court?
It would seem someone who professes only theirs is the Good side and all others are evil, that would be the type person wearing bed sheets and pointy hoods. Like Senator Byrd.
As they say, Byrds of a feather...

Yes... religious fanatics who who constantly take it upon themselves condemn other citizens as 'abominations' or as 'going to hell' and who support violence and murder against homosexuals because of their twisted religious beliefs really need to leave, since they represent a danger to peaceful citizens who do not with these people's Taliban-like views constantly forced upon them, or mixed with our secular government.
The GOP is full of them, since that's almost the only people left in their party.
As I said... we'll just have to disagree.

What others would you...

Is there a certain religion on the deportation list?
If all religions are subject only to the threat of deportation would you be providiong a list of official State Rules for each to follow?
Do you have a list of those religions who support violence and murder?
Are there others we might think of who represent a danger to peaceful citizens?
So again, please tell me how you differ from the Far Right?
You both have an unjustified fear of what you both perceive to be religious fanatics.
You both make blind assumptions about others simply because they seem to disagree.
You both want to see people who don't share your beliefs deported.
And neither of you can deny your hypocracy and lies.

I get that you believe bribery is acceptable.
I get it that you fell the "Know who I am" routine is not elitest.
I get it that in your view any differing belief or opinion must be the result of a religious fanatic.
I also get it that you view any religion as fanatical and worthy of contempt.
I get it that your idea of America is to deport people who do not measure up to your standards.
Mostly I get the fact that you would fit in rather well at a cross burning where all these plans could be perfected amoungst your peers.
