Actually, quite the opposite is true.

Religion has been a holocaust for mankind. It has kept us stupid and fearful and superstitious and pathetic, childlike believers in the unreal.

The fact is there has never been one shred of evidence for the existence of any gods or anything supernatural whatsoever. That means humans can be free from religious delusions and fear; free from the manipulations of charlatans and preachers. Free to live as we believe is right, without being misled by phony, 1000-year-old "holy" books written by ignorant, myth-wracked men.

Once you discard the ridiculous fantasy that every zygote is imbued with a "soul" by the Almighty Herself, What's wrong with abortion, anyway? Abortion prevents the birth of unwanted children, of whom we have far too many as it is. It's the unwanted children of the world who become the depressed, the demented, the criminal, the crazy, the drug addicted and suicidal.

Better an abortion clinic on every streetcorner than the birth of one more unwanted child.

Then you disagree with Franklin and the Founders or our Nation? You prefer the French Revolution model and its Reign of Terror? You'd rather go with Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Hitler and forcibly destroy religious institutions, even hospitals?

Some of the greatest minds of history have apparently been "myth-wracked" men. Pasteur, Einstein, Aquinas...how silly of me to put any credence in them!

Abortion is fine. Then you would have no objections to tearing pets apart alive or burning them for hours. Let's do it to them, too.
