Mr Bartlett's Strategic Vision polling is edifying to a point; Bush is no Reagan.

Hindsight is illuminative, no?

One could say the same about today's announcement that Daimler is reorganizing with new equity from Cerberus Capital Management LP, and the kind of light that transaction casts on the old much-ballyhooed Chrysler bailout.

In retrospect, Bush is going to look a lot better in 20 years. He is no Jimmy Carter.

I'm glad there isn't a way for America's critics--at home and abroad to see--how different the world would have been under another 8 years of Clinton-Lite (Algore) or the Ted Kennedy brand of Marxism we'd be getting from a President Kerry.
