Yes, LD, I too, have had you linked when there was nary a word...and I do ahve some of your "columns" saved and I have submitted them many times to my newsrag. But, no matter. I think in no time, you will be in the top ten. And, BTW, did you know you got a reply from Burt Prelutsky? :)

If it is within human, maybe humane, possibilities, I want to add my vote. If I can vote my way out of the path of religious zealots whom claim God and gunpowder, I want to add my vote.

I didn’t choose this war and don’t want to play! Please take my offered ballot, Mr. bin Laden. I am voting myself out of harm’s way. So I’m voting for no more war. So be it.

In fact, I’d rather my life of choice than the zealots’ subjugation. If there is a place I can choose for home wherein the Prince of Peace rules larger than the Religion of Peace, I want to live there. Yet, when the world regresses to the extent that Mohammed’s army is more prolific than the congregations of the Prince of Peace, where can I live?

If my life has value, it’s in living and doing, not dying. What promise of immortality can make killing for something a higher calling than living for something? If killing can assure me real estate along the streets of gold, does more killing grant me a larger lot, a larger piece of real estate? What I need is assurance that my vote against war will safeguard me and mine.
