The Tradition Lives On...

I myself am so glad that we are loved abroad. I see the Dow tanked today, but no worries....Turkey loves us. WTH!

Are we done yet? Did we make it?

there's NO difference between a not conservative enough Bush and a "real" Liberal Obama right? NO difference between a GOP congress that compromises their conservative values to get funding for troops and a Dem congress that doesn't have to compromise because of their super majority. NO difference between a court that stopped the barbaric partial birth abortion and a court that sees gay rights and no gun rights. NO difference in the spending to make teachers accountable for teaching kids and a drug plan that won't force the elderly to choose between eating and getting miracle medicine...and the spending to give money and health care to those who don't want to work. NO difference between the fear generated by a "hated" Bush and the derision a "loved" Obama causes in the international world that does not always have America's interest at heart.

The Dems are in Heaven...and "real" conservatives that HAD to "honestly" agree to every negativity about the GOP should be yawning...as it's more of the same...no difference, right?

what will it take for "real" conservatives who could not respect or support the choice of the party of Republicans and who felt the need to join Liberals in blaming the Republican congress and the Republican president for everything to finally say..."OMG...what have we done?"

When unemployment reaches them? When inflation is so bad that they can no longer pay their bills?

Or when some American city is taken down?

THEN will they answer the question: what has priority, my conservative "principles" or the survival of this nation?

And in choosing the latter, remember that this nations first name is "united".To survive, you find common ground with others, stand on it and THEN fight.

if all 50 states decided to dwell on the things we disagreed on instead of what unites us? We'd be easy pickins for the terrorists.

I don't understand this desperate need to pick apart the only party that has a snow's chance of stopping the Dems. I don't understand how anyone can get to adulthood and think compromise and cooperation are dirty words.

Most of all, I don't understand why people who think all politicians are akin to a lawyer and a used car salesmen in honesty, expect...no DEMAND perfection in a politician who happens to run beneath the "R" banner.

Are the two living ex-presidents with any class, who would never berate this country while overseas, yet they are both berated by many conservatives, not to mention the left wing media.
