Texas Straw Poll

Hahahahahahahah

This guy actually thinks Ron Paul's official campaign had anything to do with his supporters tremendous showing, or the efforts of his folk to be allowed in.

"Take him aside and explain that it was too much"??? Dr. Paul couldn't have stopped it if he personally begged us. Period.

What makes me chuckle, however, is that the author of this article appears to genuinely not be aware of this. Where has he been? Does he not pay attention to the political landscape, at ALL? Apparantly not, and it makes me wonder about his qualifications to write articles on this subject.

Well, allow me to educate him. Ron Paul supporters drove in from all over the state, and a few from out of state, without being asked and without direction. Dallas/Fort Worth meetup members, without being asked, and without direction, were responsible for helping to get Ron Paul supporters in the doors, exactly as you describe it above (DFW RP Meetup Rocks!!). Moreoever, the same thing happened in Iowa, and has been happening all over the U.S., as Ron Paul supporters conduct a real-live grassroots, decentralized, self-organized and self-coordinated campaign for the next President of the U.S.: Congressman Dr. Ron Paul of Brazoria county, Texas.

Plentiful?

Fred supporters were plentiful? Compared to what? Were you at the same event I was?

I think I counted 5 people at a booth, who rotated in and out.

They did bring some signs, and I was lucky enough to get a Fred 2008 and ImWithFred sticker for my father, whose name is also Fred.

I also enjoyed the Fred Thompson Robot at the booth. We got a lot of photos of it, and see it as the perfect metaphor for Fred Thompson supporters.
