Without faith in God as creator and saviour it becomes obvious that it is futile to give meaning to an existence originating from randomly uninspired happenstance and expiring into nothingness. The Godless liberals (and many so called conservatives) try to compensate by desperately acting as much like gods as they can(read arrogant elitist) before they check out.

Faith comes first in all advancements. Anyone who ever achieved anything of lasting value had faith in something greater: The pilgrims, signers of the Declaration, Galileo, Edison...and Lincoln.
