Although actually, to hear the MSM and ACLU types say it, the only people they seem to think of as a victim is the criminal.

The ONLY way we will ever see common sense in applying the death penalty is when more of these same libnards are the victims of these animals. Do you think for a minute if,GOD forbid, the Edwards children,or Chelsea, or the Gore offspring,insert favorite lib name here,were attacked like the Petit family were,that THEY would not want to see the perp executed? ACLU? What if a street gang overran their offices in a major city? Tortured all the men,degraded all the women? Would even THEY be so quick to defend these animals? How about the members of some of these parole boards? What if THEIR loved ones were to be brutalised by a murderer/rapist THEY had paroled? I guess when you live in a comfy ivory tower all your life you don't worry about such possibilities,eh?

Why do death penalty cases get appealed to the federal courts if it was a STATE law that was broken? States and their courts need to tell the Supremes to pizzoff when they order a stay of execution pending appeal. Once the Governor and the state courts have said to insert the needle/throw the switch/drop in the cyanide capsule/open the trap door/pull the triggers, then it should be done the next day...LIVE ON TV!
