If this is the case; and it certainly appears to be; then McCain has bucked the 'common wisdom' of his Party and taken a 'politically correct' candidate. One-term strong Conservative Leadership aside; 'what does Sara bring to the table'. Her youthful look does not engender associative qualities of 'world leadership - tackling the terrorists issues. . .Russia et al. And who will take care of the kids!!! IMHO, this is a too-calculated choice; when the best choice was there all along. (Sorry Mitt. . .and sorry for the rest of our Party.) Cricket/

Biden may be flaky but he's no dummy either. Romney helps in Michigan, he helps on economic issues and he's a 1st tier debater that can hold his own with Biden and then some. If McCain blows this by picking a neophyte to the national stage, he deserves to lose. He can't be that stupid, can he?
