Elected Officials Betray Us

Go JetJock Go....

There are many across this Nation who feel betrayed by many who wear the moniker "Republican". As I believe no doubt that many Democrats feel betrayed by their party leaders as well. You're not alone in this boat, nor exclusive to California, but we all look forward to what you have to say. Hard for many to believe that there are some of us who believe in God and Country and duty, and not in the dollar nor government handouts.

Ken Campbell Column/Sunday AuburnJournal

Ken Campbell wrote an interesting article regarding Doolittle in the Sunday Auburn Journal. You are debasing Ted Gaines for announcing to run against Doolittle, however Ken's article shows Doolittle votes like a Democrat. Any comments? jbrass

Ted Gaines

I am not a big fan of the Congressman. I think he is out of touch with our district. Last year at the Stars and Stripes fund raiser, John did not even stay to mingle with people from his own district. I also agree with Ken's comments from the Auburn Journal. I think it is good when an incumbent has some competition. In Ted's case, you do not go from being a huge supporter of the Congressman to saying you are going to rubn against him. I do not believe there has been any news about the Congressman being investigated since the 2006 election. You should also ask Ted why he does not support charter schools.
