Summer is a wonderful time for even local trips. Every city and town in America is alive with history. We are a new nation and the footprints of the past are often at our very doors - as they are mine.

One way we can help the conservative movement is by small, consistent efforts and modeling those patriotic efforts for our children and neighbors's children.

For example: The Cub Scouts in our area post flags on patriotic holidays. It is a glorious sight to see those flags waving in the breeze as a tangible reminder to all of this community's strong patriotic spirit.
