The Mainstream Media is looking at Harry Reid..

These items you mention pose a thorny question - don't they suggest there is no Liberal Media Bias?
If Air America is going bankrupt because the public dislikes the message (and not because of incredibly poor business dealings) then why hasn't the public abandoned the so-called "far left" ABC and CBS in favor of the so-called "centrist" Fox News? Are the broadcast networks not liberal, or is Air America not unpopular?
As for the Harry Reid story, I had chalked it up to a pro-sex-over-real-estate bias. You'll recall the press made a simliar calculation during the Clinton years. The fact that they aren't now suggests a conservative media bias; but I'm more inclined to think that editors are just trying to be fair or maybe persuing a Democrat scandal, which is kind of a novelty this month.

Lies with how the story can be "dumbed" down.. Whitewater and the WH Travel Scandal were worse than Monica, but the "people" couldn't understand the difficulty in all the facts. Same thing with Ambramoff.

But Foley and Monica, the population can grasp those pretty easily.
