“Snopes" or "Snipes”

that was a good letter

I just wrote a blog today commenting on my confrontation with MSM. They said they were going to print mine in tomorrow's paper, so we'll see. I called them out on their bias. The Mexican drug war is taking over their entire country, and because there is so much illegal immiigration here, it's spilling over onto our side of the border. It's going to get worse here because it's going to get worse in Mexico. We need to shut down the border in every way possible or we're going to lose a good part of our country in this drug cartel war.

Jesse

I just finished watching a taped version of 60 Minutes. One of the topics covered was the cartel drug wars in Mexico and the effects on the US. Anderson Cooper narrated the segment.

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4836946n

Anderson asked the Homeland Security Director, Janet Napolitano a plethora of questions. Including ones like, are you going to call for the reinstatement of the assault-gun ban? Automatically assuming such measures would curtail the drug cartel’s ability to get automatic weapons and grenades. But it wasn’t the imbecilic questions that peaked my interest; it was the total absence of any substantive questions about securing the border or illegal immigration.

UN-friggin-believable!

Great post, INTHE

I've heard that about Snopes before and I'm glad to get more evidence on their objectivity - or lack thereof. The lady's letter properly points out the differences between the "immigrants" of today (illegal, not assimilating, still speaking Spanish, etc.) and those who cam here legally and determined to modify their behavior to fit their new home.

The only way to get the dems on board in stopping illegals entering our country is to convince them that the illegals will vote Republican. The dems would deploy the Army and build a "Great Wall" to keep them out. It's all a matter of votes to them.

“It's all a matter of votes to them.”

Amen brother!

Indeed, I do use snopes but also try and get further info from other sources. Unfortunately, so many folks rely on this service.

Great job and thanx for putting up the letter.

btw

The paper that promised to print my letter in today's edition did not print it. I think I had a Macauley Culkin moment after he put aftershave on his face.

Amazing

A very heartfelt letter filled with truths, called False by indoctrinated sychophants.

I'll be tested this month and hopefully interviewed to join the border patrol. I want to do my part to stop illegals bringing guns, drugs, and violence into the U.S. I love immigrants, but illegal immigrants, even if they need to make money for their relatives from their native country, should go through the legal processes or get their green card. Otherwise why should anyone try to become a citizen legally if illegals are treated so well?

AL

I’ll be very suspect if and when I use Snopes again. Credible source? I think not. Thanks for stopping by.

Eric

Good luck on your endeavors with the border patrol. We could use some first-hand insight into the growing problems associated with our southern border.

Ugh

Napolitano did a great job in Arizona, not. I don't live there, but close enough in CA. She has no clue about what is going on at the border. I feel real safe, don't you?

Sue

Napolitano is more concerned with abolishing our borders than enforcing them.

I feel like I’m on a crippled jet about to crash. I’m helplessly strapped into my seat amidst clueless passengers, who are cheering the flight crew’s uncontrolled descent. The impact with terra firma will hurt us all.

ITN

got a new post up. As your featured blogger, I command you to read it.

The lady's letter was

an excellent, truthful well stated letter. I don't use Snopes anymore and haven't for along time. In case you're not aware of them, here is the link to a more reputable truth checker.

Good post ITH. Keep up the good work.

INTHENOW

How about skydiving and the parachute won't open and you are out there floating......

I really would like to get off this train.

Napalotano (spelling?) would just open the border and let them run. I can't believe she got this job. She is so clueless.

Bobbie

Thanks for the link and for stopping by.

Sue

In the words of our former Commander in Briefs, President “Slick-Willie” Clinton, “I feel your pain”.

INTHENOW

Hee! Hee!

Now back to that Homeland Security Bumpkin, how come nobody was calling her on not know what was going on? Can you imagine if that had been Chertoff. Oh they would have said what a bucket head he was and "out of touch."

I don't feel safe with this woman. She has no clue. Oh wait she has a contingency plan in place if the need arises and to have a problem to have the contingency plan to be enacted while we may have to use the contingency plan. Ugh! That is what she sounded like!

Sue

I’d like to know what her definition of a “problem” is.

I think she knows exactly what’s going on. But to get tough about border enforcement, means running contrary to the open-border wackos, a.k.a. Obama’s base. Look for more of the blame America bs coming from the left side.
