Therein lies the problem. We're not going to vote for him. Unless something happens and he isn't the nominee, the GOP is going down.

In the aftermath of 2008 the GOP would then need find it's voice for American sovereignty and the rule of law if they wanted to survive.

They cannot save themselves, because they don't stand for any philosophy. The GOP used to, but no more. It's all minor tactics, photo-ops, and sound bites. No character, or ideas; just reactions to polls.
