Unless Lieberman is on the ticket. The Virginia GOP was moaning that if they took Kaine and the Lt. Gov. moves up it will trash 2 million McDonald/Bolton signs. The ticket is already set for next year.

I'm happy I didn't make that list. It looks like I was only half right on this guess. Bayh looks to be the choice but the source being cited are PRINTERS. It takes a long run to print that much material and they would never get it ready by Monday unless notified in advance. Recherche de l'imprimante! (Search for the printer)

Heaven forbid that you would try to rise above your pay grade. If you can answer yes to these two questions then you are qualified in my opinion.
1. Are you a three legged conservative?
2. Are you still breathing?
Answer the last one honestly. Only democrats are allowed to be dead and still participate in politics.

I love how they came out and said that Obama was talking to the losers. Oh, I mean the ones that he has not chosen.
And we had to have a news alert to let us know that Kaine and Bayh were not on the list.
I was reading some stuff on Bayh today. I don't live in Indiana, but I read some stuff on him today and it sounded like he did some really good things for Indiana.
I know absolutely zero about Kaine. I know that he is a governor and only partially through his first term.
I know that I was on the list because I finally re-registered to vote earlier this year for the party that I actually vote for. I must have been on an old list.

There are a lot of us here in Virginia who would have loved to palm Kaine off on Obama. Kaine is Mr. Tax and Spend himself. Ran on a "no tax increase" platform and broke that promise in the first week as Governor and has been trying to raise taxes ever since. I guess we're stuck with him.

i'd come over and personally offer my sympathies that sarge will be forced to continue extending hospitality to citizen kaine. i know his move to the national stage-- leaving him less time to tinker with virginia, thus rescuing a small state from absorbing what can hardly be dealt with on a nationwide scale-- would've been a great gain to republicans of virginia, and to the population in general. i'm sorry, sarge. seriously. it's a shame b/c a kaine veep would've sunk this even more quickly than a biden will.

Kaine would have been a good choice on a couple of levels. First, he has NO experience whatsoever, so Obama wouldn't have looked like such a neophyte.
Second, he is funnier looking than Obama. What is with that hair? Although the uni-brow is interesting.
Fortunately for those of us in Old Dominion, many of the same great minds who gave us a nation and our founding documents, were also responsible for the Virginia constitution. Governors are limited to ONE term.

Obama and Biden have a commonality that extends beyond socialism.
In '72 when Biden first ran for the senate, the knock on him was that he was too young, just 29, and inexperienced, having only just finished law school a few years earlier.
He was losing that election until the tragic death of his wife and daughters in a collision with a train. The resulting sympathy vote won him the election. I still have no idea how he has managed to stay there for so long.

In a stunning move by the Prophet O'Vomit, news sources all over the USA announced the "Dream Ticket" of the Prophet O'Vomit and his cunning sidekick from Delaware, Joe Bide-Your-Time.
MSNBC was quick to annouce that Chris Matthews now has "tingling" in both legs. CNN said that Muslims all over the world were dancing in the streets and holding signs reading: "O'Vomit and Insert Name Here".

I will readily agree that McAmnesty will be hardput to match the messiah's choice.
Going with Lieberman, sort of a dull version of Ben Stein as a speaker, would certainly be one step he could take. Think about it; a whole presidential campaign without republicans on either ticket.
