The Biden/Thomas conversation occurred well over a year prior to the Anita Hill allegations. So, Biden was not reacting to the fact that Thomas might be a "sexist" (kind of ironic coming from Biden since he called Palin "good looking"). Anyway, this was not on the radar at the time.

While I might disagree with someone not voting for someone because of these weak allegations (or because someone is conservative) -- I would not necessarily label them as arrogant and bigoted.
