If one spends some time looking at the bios of the group members here:
http://www.usip.org/isg/members.htmlit becomes apparent that the criteria for selection was based more upon being than upon doing. In both the military and in the corporate world they would all be considered high level staffers. There's not one of them that has outstanding qualities as either a line officer or line manager.
We should be thankful that they don't have any authority.
