Why are child care facilities excluded from licensed carry? This has been an advertised target by terrorists and a place where we would especially want protection - young children present!!!!

That's the bill that says they, the childcare facility, can make a policy (not law), that forbids leaving a firearm in a locked vehicle there. I'm not sure why, but it says nothing about it being punishable to do so, nor does it say anything about you not carrying (as per SB 65), just that they can have their policies. Of course, I think that if I was in the market for one and I found a childcare with a policy like that, I'd look for a different childcare. Mainly, I think it's mostly what the Left-wing likes most: Feel-good, meaningless, worthless legislation that allows them to think they're doing something, kinda like the guy that doesn't want to wait for traffic so he can get through the one mile of construction, so he detours three miles around it and when he gets back on the road he started, he's two cars behind where he was in the first place. Ah, but he was /moving/ the whole time, while they spent a large portion of the time sitting still! Yeah.

He may have been moving the whole time, but he also wasted a lot of gas....just like liberals do. ;-)

Considering the indoctrination of the public school system, we can't _completely_ fault the liberals for the way they think. So much of our societal upbringing is focused toward that mindset and is presented in the fragile years when we have little in the way of discernment, it's very hard to break out of it, especially with the continued "booster shots" from the MSM.

I recently saw a very apt comparison- If anyone saw the movie "They Live", probably 15 years or more ago, with Roddy Piper, they might be aware of what I mean. It's hard to put those glasses on, but once you do, wow.
