Dutch was brilliant, gentle man
Your invoking Dutch's legacy is timely.
Remarking his effectiviness also recalls the knowledge that an insidious crusade is ongoing to marginalize his accomplishments.
Waged by university academics of rabid leftist commitment, the detractors repeat the subterfuge that Ronald Reagan was an affable dullard. This is a vile violation of academic integrity and freedom.
President Reagan stands among the most intellectually gifted leaders in the history of the world. His understanding of the mechanics and spirit of the civilizing tendency compared favorably with Jefferson, Adams, Hamilton and Madison.
By nature unpretentious and without hubris, Dutch cared little for image. He was concerned with appearances only in the maintenance of dignity and and respect for his exemplary station.
My Reagan library provides each day new insights and facts that support my assertions.
Thanks again. If you have not read "Reagan in His Own Hand" or "God and Ronald Reagan," you may look forward to few very pleasant and reassuring hours.
As an example, Dutch loved Matthew, the verses embodying the Beatitudes: (5:14-16)You are the light of the world. A City on A Hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl...
Ironically, according author Paul Kengor's account, his celebrating a Christian America as a beacon of hope for the world led to an attack by The Soviets in Tass. Can you believe that the Communists protested that Dutch's "city on a hill" remarks were sacrilegious?
Thanks.

Hopefully
our next election will result in everything opposite of Obama! Whether he be conservative or not, we'd be in better shape than 4 more years of this! I can't wait till this man's out of the oval office.
