Yes, Republicans, continue to take your inspiration and marching orders from an obese, cigar-smoking, 3Xs divorced drug addict who just finished high school.
Then wonder why your party is in shambles.

Skagway Guy, Your Concern Is Touching
But really, we don't need your concern for the Republican party. "Marching orders" is what Obama's followers got. The Obama campaign texted "Go protest over there" and "Call and complain over here." Republicans don't need to be given marching orders, we think for ourselves. What you liberals fail to realize is that Rush speaks FOR us, not the other way around.
And no, our party isn't in shambles. Obama has stimulated Republicans and Independents like you couldn't imagine. In 2010, Obama and his liberal cronies and thugs will hear the will of the American people ROARING in their ears.
So, find other things to worry about; the Republican party is just fine and growing stronger and stronger as Obama's poll numbers are dropping.
The media can try to portray Obama as popular with the American people; the fact is, the stock market is the truest poll of Obama. Don't you find it peculiar that everytime Obama opens his mouth the market sinks even further. That's called "confidence," and quite obviously the American people have little or no confidence in Obama or his stupid ideas.
Eventually, people are going to get sick and tired of being broke and watching their life's savings dwindling. I'm quite confident that the American people will eventually kick Obama to the curb. It's inevitable.

Time for Choosing
Rush Limbaugh gave a hell of a talk. It reminded me of the Time for Choosing speech of '64 in that it was a clear, sensible laying out of conservative values.
It would be educational to someone who does not understand what conservatism is all about.
In fact, it's the speech Bobby Jindal should have given earlier in the week.
It's worth watching on youtube.

RE: Flush!
What part of Rush's speech didn't you like? Did you even listen to anything he said?
I don't need any “marching orders” as I agree with just about everything Rush says. I know this may come as a shock to a liberal such as yourself, but conservatives listen to Rush because they think alike and agree on the major issues.
You forgot to mention in your note his wives and divorces, lack of children, church non-attendance and obesity. Thankfully as a Christian, I can overlook his problems because of certain forgiveness principles which liberals seem to conveniently avoid when it suits them (“all have fallen short” and “let he who is without sin cast the first stone”). Quoting from the Bible doesn't upset you, too, does it?
I suppose it's okay for so many liberals to have personal issues, but not Republicans and conservatives (please note the distinction between the latter). Would you ignore Ted Kennedy's ideas because of his drinking and womanizing? Patrick Kennedy because of drugs? Barney Frank because of his boy-toys and male prostitutes?
Last time I checked every human I know has some sort of personal failings. Perhaps you should be less judgmental.

Hi from a fellow conservative from SD!
A note from your cousin once removed from SD. Nice to see that one of my relatives has a great conservative blog. We listened to his speech tonight on Greta's show (missed it yesterday) and he was great! We just need to keep the momentum up.
I think the way the great O and his partner Pelosi are going that the Reps might have a great chance to win next time around. He's spending like a drunken sailor with a never-ending ocean of money, he's ignoring the Constitution (actually admitted he would during the first debate), and his talk of being bipartisan is just that, talk.
Look forward to reading more from you!
