I propose that we save the billions of dollars required for all those electronic voting machines and safeguards and begin printing paper ballots with the photos of the candidates on the ballots, with a square box alongside the photo. The voter will vote by rolling his right index finger on a purple ink pad and then placing that finger lightly inside the square box.

The ballot-counting will begin immediately upon closing of the polls, under the watchful eye of bi-partisan observers and will hopefully be completed before the next election.

Dummies in south Florida and San Francisco will be individually instructed that purple ink MUST be used and a demostration conducted as to where to put their fingers.
