Let's Use Saul Alinsky's Methods Against Them

Excellent blog. Of all Obama's associations, his association with Saul Alinsky is the most disturbing to me. The reason for that is simple: Alinsky was a proud marxist propogandist. His words could be used to brainwash the mentally weak. Obama used two words during his whole campaign. "Change" and "hope", and it worked. The scariest thing Alinsky put forth was to put fear into the people, then divide and conquer your enemies. Obama certainly has done that. That's why a sitting President targeted a radio talk show host.

I concur with you 100%.I believe this country is in for an epic struggle, there will come a point at which we either pull ourselves back or dive headlong into the abyss. The country is not ready at this moment to accept conservative leadership unfortunately minds will only change when our country incurs more damage. As much as I abhor to agree with Geraldo Rivera when he said that they had more people come out at single location for the hispanic May Day immigration protest than we had for Tax Day all the locations combined. That illustrates how lethargic and apathetic our populace has become, but it was a great start and hopefully a launch pad for a greater turnout on the 4th.

Dave, there does need to be some
coordination but first we need to determine if that's the way we want to proceed. After the Tea Parties, the question kept coming up: what's next? Seems to me that another MUCH BIGGER turnout (on a Saturday) will bring all of us together so we can move forward with reestablishing the Constitution and the rule of law.

I have been called a conspirist for suggesting this entire meltdown was the ultimate "October Surprise". When the effort to foil the war in Iraq failed after trying every means in the barrel bottom to undermine the troops, they finally had to admit the surge worked and the election turned at that point to a 50/50 tie between Obama nad McCain with the momentum in the Republican's direction. Then - WHAM - out of the blue comes a sub-prime mortgage crisis that Frank and Dodd had been saving as plan B just in case the war theme did not get their man elected. Bush five times, the first only a month into his first term, took his MBA from Harvard, looked at the balance sheet and said something is terribly wrong with this picture. This Fannie and Freddie affirmative action program(s) is 100% a democrat program since 1977 under the Carter administration and put on steroids by Clinton with threats from Janet Reno to the banks to lend money to unqualified minorities. Bush pushed the matter further when he used extortion-according to Judge Napolitano of Fox News-to make banks continue this program. Why the double standard Mr. Bush? How can you on one day say the programs are in deep and then force banks to "keep up the good work"? Since the Republicans threw Newt under the bus, there has been one party in this country, and this is the massive problem we face now. Winning by any means including total economic collapse is Alinsky incarnate!

Garnet, great blog! Right Wing Extremist Radicals such as we have always behaved civilly. Because we believe so strongly in the basic rights of freedom of speech, we radicals have turned the other cheek to our detriment.
When idiot pundits/snooozecasters liken participants of the tea parties to sexual innuendo, we`ve got them on the run! They have no other weapon beside derision and they will continue to use it. We watched the tea party coverage on Fox News. The people were happy and not violent. The signs were brilliant!
D-ohbama spent this last weekend telling all of Latin America that it was not his fault. Not one word of defense for the USA that elected him to the highest office in the land, nor did he offer any recognition of our glorious history of freedom. Now, more than ever, people need to awaken that American is not a "downright mean country". These tea parties are the foot in the door to save the nation and send a message.

The answer is yes, yes, and yes. Everything he's doing is all part of a grander plan. And his hand picked cabinet of marxist/communist dirt bags are concrete proof of that.
lying Master Manipulator in Chief Obama and his thugs are out to create a Stalinistic dictatorship and we best realize that while we still have time to do something about it.

Garnet: This is one of the most enlightening -- and disturbing -- TH posts I've seen in some time. Congratulations. My political sensibilities began being awakened only after graduation from college (ECU) in 1959, and my entry into the business world after a 6-month National Guard hitch. I began to get my real education via a public relations post with the N.C. Farm Bureau Federation, a solid conservative organization where I learned much. In 1966 I went into "graduate school" in television as a reporter answering directly to Jesse Helms, whom I assisted in writing conserative editorials. He was a mentor to whom I will always be indebted. It was during that time that socialists, Marxists, left-wing agitators and union thugs made overt attacks against the America I knew and loved. That period was a formative gift that set my political philosophy in stone. Before that, I didn't know what to believe. Now I know what not to believe. I see many traces of those early conspiracies against the U.S. in your post, for which I am grateful. We must reinvigorate our passion for America, as well as our firm opposition to our enemies. I am going to save this post for future reference. You're doing noble work, my friend. Keep the faith! Verne.

Revolution In The Other Direction
For the last 8 years, the Left has been using these methods. Turn about is fair play.
Tea Parties and ridicule of President O'Vomit seems like the way to go, for now.
I fear that this will get "dirty" very quickly. If the Administration sees that the attacks and ridicule from the Right are increasing, they will "ratchet up" the magnitude of their consolidation of power.
This, however, can work to our advantage. When the Administration, and the Left, increase the magnitude, it will alienate more and more people.

In fact, D'ohbama's many associations with Marxists, Communists, and Socialists MUST have rubbed off on him - almost impossible to pal around with those folks for twenty years or more and not have sympathy for their anti-American causes. Epic struggle is right. I also agree that it may take another 9/11 tragedy to shake our more inert citizens into action. And like you, I hate to agree with Geraldo, but our movement is still in its infancy and we haven't (yet) united around a single cause. The Hispanics rally around immigration - it's a uniting force. We don't yet have that cohesion. I'm hoping that we can get united, regardless of which cause pushes the button.

You and I are the same age and (hopefully) the miles we've traveled give us some small amount of wisdom. I never thought that I would see the trampling of historically American values the way they're being sullied today. We have too many young folks who've never sacrificed or done without to help the country win a war. They've never traveled to a foreign country where freedoms are non-existant and they've never worried about what kind of country their grandchildren will inherit. I think that most young folks simply don't understand that our freedoms CAN BE LOST. They COULD wake up one day to a country that TELLS us where to work, where to live, controls our income and REQUIRES that we think and act according the government's requirements. IT CAN HAPPEN - IF WE LET IT.

The left won't lie back and roll over - they've worked too hard to win control and they won't let it go willingly. And they won't try reason and logic (as we have), they'll declare all-out political war. So, we must be prepared to fight them with their own weapons: ridicule, derision, pointing out hypocrisy, etc. We must demonize their leaders (remember Bush and Cheney?) and generally use Alinsky's methods against them. It won't be easy - we've been apathetic too long.

It's really hard for me to dismiss reason and logic. It's the way I've been trained to think and work things out. But we all know that logic and reason were nowhere to be found last November 4th when the country elected a "community organizer" with no leadership skills and NO accomplishments to claim (except the Harvard Review) and we "hire" this empty suit to take the most difficult position on the planet? Obviously, reason and logic had nothing to do with that decision. The racists and democrat lemmings did that to us without any semblance of logic or reason.
