Reflections on the Declaration of Independence

The phrase “a timeless document” is often used in describing the Declaration of Independence. The words trip easily off tongues of liberals and conservatives alike. Yet, too few appreciate timelessness of those magnificent words penned by Jefferson. The enumeration of grievances contained therein, while originally directed toward a distant king, are still relevant today when evaluating the current administration.
