One Palin & One on Immigration

You may actually want to read Hewitt's most recent Townhall column, "In Defense of John Kyl"

I'm actually a fan of Hewitt himself, but I do get your point about extremists...like the ones now raking Hewitt over the coals in his comments section simply for not totally ostracizing Kyl and dismissing him as a non-conservative...those people probably aren't worth trying to convince.

Hugh is like the guy who poured a lot of charcoal liter on the fire and then burned down the house. The Immigration Bill is the best we'll ever get, and if Hillary wins we will find out what it means to say "beggars can't be choosers." We forgot how badly (REAL badly) we lost the last election. Muhammed Ali used to have a technique he called the rope-a-dope where he wore the other guy. We need a political strategy like that one . . .

. . . But hey, what about Palin?

I said three weeks ago the Republicans should stay away from the Immigration Bill and leave things as they are until the next election.
