St Hillary Pt 3

So much crap is spread around the internet by blogs such as yours that this sort of stuff always gets it's 15 minutes of fame, then lingers on only in the wingnutosphere. I think the Clinton campaign will survive.

Good old boy Rush Limbaugh made a big do-do about Dan Rather when he reported Bush failed to do his duty while a member of the guard. He accused Rather of not checking the story before reporting it. He was also gleeful when Rather was fired.

Now we have Limbaugh spending several hours on the air critizing Clinton for not leaving a tip only to later find out that in fact a tip was indeed given.

Since Limbaugh is guilty of the same error - why is he still on the air?

The answer to your question is that Dan Rather was a journalist. Limbaugh is just a buffoon. No one believes him except his dittoheads, and they believe anything so long as it is screamed loud enough.

He recently did a show with two "scientists" who claimed to have "proof" that there was no global warming and that there was a conspiracy among the other 98% of the scientific community who agree that global warming is, for whatever reason, occuring. He was forced to admit on air that he was the victim of a hoax when it turned out they were not scientists at all.

Guess he did not do his "fact" checking. But then again, he does not really care about facts, so why bother?

I always have a nice day after reading your blog. It reassures me that the long nightmare of "conservative" control of government is surely coming to a close. The more you guys squeal, the happier I get. And I am really, really happy right now! :D
