Well, clyde
That's one more (small) checkmark in his column. Who knows, maybe there will be more? We'll see.

The "narrative" about McCain is superior to Obama's. And the Middle picks who they best "feel" about. Our question about McCain is whether he'll really do as he says. Can we trust him? It will take a leap of faith to vote for him.

Hey Dave
Can't disagree, I don't entirely trust McCain but it is what it is. But I don't agree that it takes a leap of faith to vote for him. None of the third party guys have a chance and the alternative is Obama. As distasteful as it is, for me, the only option is McCain. I do feel better with Sarah on the ticket, as inexperienced as she it on the national stage. It's gonna be a "fun" two months.

Welcome to Pesky Truth, Joe
Thanks for stopping by - yeah, Cindy is something else - good looking, good heart, and it doesn't hurt that she's loaded either. If she'll have me, I'm hers - dump that old wrinkled guy go for the gusto, Cindy!

Garnet re Cindy Mc Cain
A very good post, then again all your posts are well written!! I think you are right re comment to dave on leap of faith. We have much evidencr that McCain IS a conservative and will do what he says then we have that Obama is a moderate who puts America first and will be fiscally responsible. In FAct there is NO evidence for this AND we all know where he stands on Judges and killing babies born alive.

Hello Garnet92, Hey Kev
Just read your post and I cannot agree more. What John McCain is, despite his ability to drive us all crazy, he is a real guy. Not some made-up con-job foisted on us by the political class. I don't know if you've ever been over the Backyard Grill, but I've got a post up there you might be interested in about McCain. BTW, I live pretty close to you in Richardson.

Right, not a leap - maybe more like a "hop" of faith. I still worry about folks who will vote for a third party guy out of conviction. I still remember Ross Perot who got almost 19% of the vote and helped BJ Clinton win the presidency in 1992. And I liked Perot - he had the guts to rescue two of his EDS employees from captivity in Iran, but I still voted for Bush. Like voting for Ross, I believe that voting for anyone but McCain helps Obama.

Hi neighbor! How does one address
"bob's my uncle"? Is it Mr. Uncle? Or BM Uncle, or jus plain bob? I'm in the "low rent" area of Plano, Ohio and West Park. I used to live in Richardson when I was married - in the Plano Rd, Campbell area. So, howdy neighbor!
Right McCain is for real, for sure. I just hope that we can influence him to moderate some of his positions.
I will check out the Backyard Grill tonight - thanks for stopping by!

Right, of course it helps Obama, people who propose not voting or voting for a BArr or other flake are never going to be a part of any real rseurgance of conservatism cause nothing will ever be 100 pct for them. Its like spoiled children who cant get their own way so dont want anyone to play LOLOL cept we dont have time to waste on them, too much is at stake. Wether they know or not there IS a New Conservatism comming and the McCAin-Palin Tick is just the start as I have writeen in a couple posts this weekend
