Enough Said...

Too bad she's not

at the TOP of the ticket.

I'd vote for her in a heartbeat.

BrianR and Squiddy

I totally agree. I wish she was at the top of the ticket. I think that if she hears enough from us, she can keep him on the right track. Once we get McCain-Palin elected, we MUST focus on reclaiming Congress in 2010. We have to get rid of all the incumbents - too many of the Republicans there are faux-conservatives and are either way too comfy in DC or are totally in bed with Pelosi and her minions so they can keep their jobs. Clean The House in 2010. Then make sure the President gets a Line Item Veto and uses it!

SquiddyPopPerkeyJean

I agree with Brian. Seems like if not for her who knows where we would be.

Either way Chad

we must focus on 2010 and the congressional elections. I think both the third party folks and the McCain folks can agree on that.

As for the pictures Squiddy, as you put it, enough said.

Chad

Did Cheney keep Bush on the right track?

On January 21, Palin disappears into her office in the OEOB, her function in this election realized, never to be seen again, "in a secure undisclosed location", spending the next four years counting paper clips, unless needed to try to assuage outraged conservatives once again.

Wil, absolutely

The 2010 mid-terms are crucial, because either way we're going to have a liberal in the Oval Office.

Hey Brian

as a Californian, what do you think of Duncan Hunter trying to challenge whichever senator is up for reelection in 2010? (Since his son is hopefully taking his seat in the House?) If we get a good conservative (like I think Hunter is) and the regular media won't cover him, we need to talk them up incessantly over the next two years. I remember you saying that the guy who ran in 2008 was good, and I had never heard his name in a newspaper, magazine, radio or tv ad. Someone with a bit of a statewide name like Hunter might do better.

I'm posting this to invite you to a chatroom that's been set up for conservative townhallers to hang out and chat with each other.

If you're interested in checking it out, drop a post at my blog and provide me a throw-away email, and I'll send you the link and instructions.

Have a great day!

Squiddy...

Love it! Mac was one smart guy to pick her! She could be America's Margaret Thatcher, and the future of the Republican party!

Tru dat

Squiddy, the pics say it all. Do you know what kind of bike Sarah's got there?
Shameless plug time again, new cartoon about the dork on the bicycle.

Wil, I think that's

a GREAT idea! That'll be Boxer, BTW.

The main obstacle he'd face, IMO and based on history -- to which you alluded -- would be the same one faced by Dick Mountjoy when he ran against Feinstein.

The reason you never heard his name is that he got absolutely no -- zero, zip, nada -- support from either the state or national GOP.

Hopefully, by 2010, they'll have learned their lesson, and won't make the same mistake again.

Yet one MORE reason why California conservatives owe no allegiance to the GOP.

This could well come to pass. And since McCain has hedged on his statements on the economy this week, and with the post-convention buzz dead and the hangover remaining...

I will be listening carefuly to what he ays and how he says it. He's not as bad as Obama, but if I detect or get the impression that he picked Palin just for the votes and with no intention of reforming anything, I'll be voting 3rd party.

Squiddy

New one up at the Island/Orphanage.

Squiddy...

Are you as sick as I am of repubs bashing Mac?

I think some folks are needing a shrink...;)

>Where's the Squid these days?

I'm wondering the same thing, and she's my sister!

Thought this might interest you.
