Good stuff, JDW, as always. This "healthcare" stuff is another form of fascism, IMO. Right along with cap and tax.

Fortunately, it seems to be losing momentum, right along with Obambi's popularity.

We'll see what happens. If it passes, we're really screwed.

I'm noting a disturbing trend in the healthcare debate. The opposition is NOT saying that government shouldn't be involved, they are arguing that it's too expensive in it's present form.

We got this same shuffle on cap and tax, bailouts, stimulus bills, and all the other boondoggles that have passed in the last 10 months.

I don't hear any voices saying that healthcare is not a function of government, period!

That last line is my concern, too. That's my big squawk with the GOP on this, as usual.

Where's the "that's not a proper government function" argument?

Instead -- as usual -- the GOP is the "Me, too! But not as much!" party.

So again, and also as usual, they've let the Dems set the agenda and determine the propriety of government involvement, instead of calling the whole thing for the BS it really is.
