I don't know all of them, but I am ready and willing to pull the plug on Boxer and Feinstein.
Voted for them once and never again, but they keep getting re-elected.

At my job if I worked the way they do, I would have been dismissed a long time ago.

You don't have to know all of them to realize there is a worthless bunch in Washington D.C.
I encourage you to searcd on the Internet and see the pathetic voting record of these people and that is the just of this article. Look at the issues and the voting records, for instance, the oil issue voting shows nearly every Democrat has voted no on oil exploration and production. There are a few Republicans that voted no too. For the most part the people who are now in Congress got there because they told us they would represent us BUT when they get to Congress they are met and told if they want to stay in Congress they will vote as they are told or they will be outcasts. That is wrong and we, the voters need to get rid of the Congressional leaders that are practivcing this tactic. One of them was Tom Daschle. He was a top Democrat and is gone now, no one there is as untouchable as they think, we the people can get rid of these idiots if we vote them out. Pelosi and her crowd need to go for sure. Get rid of these idiots, we can do it!! Electing Barak will only add another idiot to Washington and it is alot harder to get them out than it is to not elect them in the first place. A lot of them don't lie until they are elected but in Barak's case he is already saying crap that makes me furious so let's not let the idiot get there. He needs removed from Congress too, he is against the people and thinks he knows better for us than we know. He knows nothing about what we the people need and could care less. He wants to give us crap we don't want. He thinks we are at his mercy and are forced to take what he is willing to give. WELL it isn't his to give, everything there belongs to we the people, it isn't his to give. Get rid of these idiots who think they control us, we control them, if they are doing what we want, vote them out. It is them, not the President doing all this crap to this country.

James Hansen who is described by the very left-wing Guardian of the UK as one of the leading climatologists wants to put the executives of the oil companies on trial for lying to the people. If lying is a crime we can haul this sorry bunch we call our representatives before a tribunal and slap them all in prison including those who are not up for re-election.

That would pretty much clean the place out for sure. I would like to have elected officials sign an agreement stating what he/she intends to accomplish and pay them accordingly. Currently the people pay them and they don't accomplish s thing nor do they do what they say they will do. No one in a regular job would last long doing that! I would like to pay them for what they are worth, not what they think they're worth. We could pay the deficit off that way.

Larry - I have been looking at voting records and quite frankly it is making me ill. I live in CA and let me tell you, we are leading the pack of real super WINNERS, Feinstein, Boxer, Waters, Pelosi, Gov Arnold, etc. Lets sue OPEC - go Boxer!

We can't very well sue OPEC. You are probably too young to remember the oil boycott of the 70's. If you think things are bad now they were worse then. You had to wait in line to get gasoline then and most times the gas stations only gave out limited amounts.
Our powerlessness in regard to OPEC just illustrates how badly our politicians have served us. We are at the mercy of foreign countries while we are sitting on an ocean of oil.

Charles, I do remember those wonderful lines at the pump. My sister and I thought it was wonderful to get to drive with my dad to the gas station and park the car (overnight) and then wait for my mom to come pick us up. We did not know really what was going on.

Our wonderful senator from CA, Barbara Boxer and her cohorts (May 2008) wanted a bill to give the DOJ the authority to sue OPEC for limited supplies and so on. It went over well in the House, but not sure what happened to it. Maybe they realized how lame it was. I can't believe some of these people keep getting voted back in!!!

They are frustrating me too. I am just waiting for them to announce that they are going to give themselves a raise for doing a super job. That would be the end. I wonder if they have a quota of committe meetings????

They don't have to announce anything. Their raises come automatically. The only way we peasants find out about it is if the lamestream media tell us. Since the Demorats are now in power it will probably be covered up.
As for a committee meeting quota there is none. They don't even have to be in Washington. They are supposed to be docked when they are absent but never are.

Yes and I love how they don't have to be there to vote. Or when they are there and say present. Isn't that your job? Get in there and vote! Do your job.

It just frustrates me that if I had that work performance at my job, I would have been booted to the curb. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!
