Well said. You have illuminated some very good points and you are on to their game. It obviously doesn't matter what we the people think to these rascals. They are Hell bent to do what they wish, and the rest of us be damned. They really have given up any pretense of "representing" their constituents. I think they are dizzy with power and are confused about whatever "mandate" they think they possess just because they were "elected." They may have been elected, but that does not mean that can simply disregard public opinion when it begins to go against them. In a republic, representatives are supposed to represent their constituents. These people, so many of them in Congress, DO NOT. They clearly have their own agenda and will see it through to the bitter end. The end will indeed be bitter as this corruption-filled financial disaster overwhelms us. In sum, we must watch their every move with an eagle-eye and tell them clearly to the faces that they are wrong! I predict a huge sweep of Democrat (and some Republican ) candidates out of office in 2010. It will be historic. I also predict that Obama will not be reelected. In fact, Obama will be lucky to finish his term. He appears to be slowing down, getting fatigued, committing disastrous mistakes at every turn, and losing support even among liberals.
