I couldn't agree more. Let's get back to basics: common sense (if anyone has any left after public education) and conservative values. I never imagined I would see the fall of such a great nation as ours. I suppose this must be what it felt like for the Greeks and Romans. Will we learn from history or become history remains to be seen. Although this election was historical in one regard, it is like a greek tragedy in another. It is a sad day for our country and Martin Luther King's memory because it has illustrated that racism is still a problem. MLK gave his life so that a man would be "judged on the content of his character and not the color of his skin." Yet, the First Black President was elected based on the exact opposite. If it was not about race then how come ~92% of blacks voted for Obama? Who is racist now?
