The United States Constitution: It is not about "technicalities"! Legislators called to enforce Constitution.

Technicalities

I fully agree with you on proving eligibilty for the office of president.

Our country was founded on the rule of law and to let the requirements for the highest office in the land slide so as not to create a controversy is unacceptable.

I too write our elected officials often and have been discouraged by their non replies.

Terry

First and foremost, Thank you Sir for your service to our country and WELCOME HOME!

I applaud your taking the fight back to those representatives after receiving such smarmy replies to a valid question. I would have thought better of Sen. Cornyn, he did step up to the plate when the Code Puke bunch out in Berkeley were raising such a ruckus. Thank you for sharing your letters with us and exposing professional politicians for what they are. Sadly, I get the same form letter replies from my representatives here in Washington state. Go figure.

Good post and thanks again.

Terry -- Thank You

Ditto what DeanD said.

What is fascinating is that replies I have gotten from the D.C. pine cones who are supposedly representing me and VA are not only similar in sentiment, but actually contain some of the very same language! Hmmm

Thanx for the great post. Will be popping in to read more. Have a healty and safe 2009.
