at 6:30, we got there at 6:10, were number 40 & 41 in line, there were 300 people in line at 6:30. I was out the door at 7:00. How's that?

I am really late to this party, but here is my voting day.
I voted early because I held McCain/Palin signs during the day on various street corners.
I did take my mom because she is very ill and off we went. The polls opened at 7:00. We were there at 6:50 and we were fifth in line.
I live in CA.

Sue, thanks for visiting and for the comment. Fortunately my mom voted absentee and avoided the polls on election day, because she lives in the same precinct I do, so she missed the lines.

I remember many years ago, I actually had to wait in line for about 15 minutes. Wow! I could not believe some of the lines that I saw on TV. They were incredible. My cousins in PA waited about 2.5 hours. And they were ready to get out of line because every one around them kept talking about all of the "free" stuff they were going to get when Obama won! Ugh! I think I would have pulled my hair out or poked my eye out.
