I enjoyed reading your article. I have a military background as well. My dad is a retired Air Force Chief and I retired from the Air Force (6 years AD and 20 Years in the Reserves) in Oct 06 as an E-6.
I do not know alot about Muslim culture only what I read in peridicals and magazines. Did you ever read the story about Ralph Ellison the only muslim in the U.S. House who took his oath of office using the Quaran that once belonged to Thomas Jefferson? I had no idea why we actually fought over there until I read the history about it. Unfortunatly it is not something that is not taught in todays history classes.
Although I have no animosity towards people of the Muslim faith, I also realize that a vast majority of Muslims do not agree with the extremists. Why they do not speak out against them is beyond me. Maybe it is because of fear or whatever reason but they only way there will be peace among religions is when those people actually rise up and denounce them pubicly. Otherwise we will continue to live in a world of fear and hoplessness. Thanks for opening my eyes.

I want to see his college records. There he will give his "nationality". As he did travel on an Indonesian passport, I want to know what he claims his home country to be in his college applications and what, if any, grants he got to attend college.

Further, I want to know his courses, his grades, and his class ranking. I heard enough that McCain was second from the bottom in his Naval Academy class. Where are Smilin Barry's grades and standings?

Smilin Barry traveled many miles while being a poor college student. Maybe he ought to advise other college students how they can tour the world on a meager student stipend.
