Think of all the TV shows out there, where "miracles" happen all the time- ER, House, CSI. They all solve/conquer/heal impossible cases every week. And in only an hour!

I fear the majority of our citizens do believe n the "miracles" that they see on TV. It's much more sexy to "fix" things. Think how boring the shows would be if every patient died, as opposed to the wonderful save.

I think that has carried over way too much into real life. Hopefully the clear thinking voters show up at the voting booth more than the dreamers.
