Disgrace
Hey, Sean -- Alcee Hastings is a disgrace and unfit for Congress -- As a judge, he was impeached -- The fact that he is still a public servant in elective office exposes the blatant ignorance and stupidity of his constitutents -- IQ tests should be required upon registering to vote -- His despicable remarks against Gov. Palin are unexcusable -- Can you imagine if Gov. Palin had remarked that Charlie Rangel has a bad hair process! -- I find myself getting more disgusted every day -- This could become the norm --

IQ Tests for Congress
IQ tests for all constituents. The American Electorate elected Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton for two terms and now they are getting ready to vote for Barack Obama. This worthless congress , the 109th, is in place because we put them there. Americans have this "don't give a damn" attitude towards their government until we have a crisis. Then everyone wants blood. When things are hidden we coast along watching our football games, and our reality shows and listening to our i pods....
We truly don';t deserve our democracy.

Change I Don't Believe In
The problem with all these calls for government oversight is that nobody's overseeing the overseers. Government is a reactive institution by nature, not a proactive one, and the response is usually knee-jerk because the process always involves assigning blame first without regard to the right solutions. That's why Obama even has a chance, many are blaming Bush for all of our woes and pulling for "change" just for change. The problem is, Obama's economic plan, raising capital gains taxes and increasing entitlement spending, would be a nuclear bomb to this economy.
