Conservative Morality Falls To Second Place

concerning the Iraq war is that Saddam DID have connections with Al Qaeda. (DUH! Al Qaeda is obviously there now, kept busily away from our turf.) He DID pursue nuclear capabilities, whether or not he succeeded. EVERYONE, including Clinton, believed he had WMDs and was crazy enough to use them.

Saddam was a terrorist to his own people -- rape rooms, putting people through a plastic shredder to die a torturous death, cutting out tongues (no First Amendment there), etc...

Iraqis DID fire at our planes, they DID fail to live up to U.N. agreements (not that I personally give the UN much clout) and they made an attempt on the life of one of our presidents (Bush 1).

We didn't just say, 'Oh, we want this guy's oil, so let's go kill women and babies!'

When women and children in Iraq die, it is NOT because of evil U.S. soldiers, it is the terrorists who use them as shields or strap them with bombs to explode near our soldiers. We try so hard to NOT kill innocents, that we lose more of our own soldiers than if we were to just bomb the whole place from a safe distance.

If you had a rattlesnake in your backyard, would you kill it before it bit your child? Or would you, with your high 'morals,' NOT take pre-emptive action at the risk of it killing your loved ones?

The difference between liberals and conservatives is that conservatives genuinely DO value life -- so much so that we will fight to preserve the lives of those at home, the lives of the next generation.

Liberals would rather bend over with their 'politically correct' version of morals and 'tolerantly' take it up the arse from intolerant, murdering tyrants because they are too 'enlightened' to do the dirty and risky job of standing up to those who have sworn to destroy us. They don't see anything wrong with non-Americans abusing people all over the world. It's only the Americans who are capable of wrong, G. Bush specifically.

So if you think defending the lives of our whole nation and improving the lives of Iraqis and others in the Middle East by removing outright murderers is equivalent to ending the life of someone who hasn't even yet had the chance to merit the death penalty before it is administered, then I wonder about YOUR morals.
