My First Townhall Blog: Debate Night

Knight Rider?

Could you have set a lower standard than that?

Enjoyed the blog, thanks for posting!

Good TV

I have a nice $15 Chardonnay, some Caviar on ice (cheap kind) and some great garlic flavored crackers all set to go. This is the super bowl or the world series for a political fanatic like me. I think McCain is the hero tonight. He went back to work and gave up his political future for the good of the hurting American people. Obama and Dave Alexrod are damned sorry they didn't think of this first.
Now, if there is deal by debate time, then McCain will win more gold than Michael Phelps. Either way I am going to enjoy my evening.

You're Welcome

Thanks for reading.
Hope you'll keep checking in.

It should be a fun evening, just for the shear sport of it. I just hope Obama's tendency to umm, hem, uh, uh doesn't have me screaming at the set like Sam Kinison in "Back to School": "SAY IT! SAY IT!!!!!"
(Not to make fun of Obama. I sorta talk the same way. Which is why both Obama and I make better writers than we do spontaneous talkers.)

Personally, I'm looking more forward to the VP debate in terms of entertainment. It's got the makings of a 70's sitcom. The sassy mom and the buffoonish neighbor. I guarantee she'll have some punch lines that'll be you tube classics by morning. Heck, a well timed "Oh, Joe" accompanied by a shake of the head and smile, could be enough to lay him out.
