Peppermint: taking suggestions?
Peppermint,
I've been lurking and enjoying every chapter, but it occurred to me this morning that (at some point, hopefully) you'll run out of nationally recognized scoundrels.
I'm wondering if you'd accept some suggestions for scoundrels from my great state of MA; some you know, others you may not...
Let me start with the great bloviator (you may have taken care of him and I've already blanked it out) Sen. Ted "Splash" Kennedy and his spawn, Patches and spawn's cousin, former State Senator Joe Kennedy. (BTW, I'm grateful for the unmarked grave of Jon F'in Carey.)
Then we have Congressman Wm Delahunt, renowned commie rumpswab, Congressman Barney "Hot Bottoms" Frank, he of the male prostitute ring run from his DC digs, new Gov. Deval Patrick, who almost immediately rescinded former Gov. Romney's dictate to State Police to arrest illegal aliens when encountered during regular stops.
Naturally, I can go on, but only if you're taking new fodder applications...
Great job!

You know, Pappy has a good training program...for those failures like Bradical, May I suggest the "Neecessity of Not-nicety Boot Camp? Perhaps, after much toughening up they will forget how to "feel" and learn to use logic.
Example...after twenty wussy push-ups,Bradical cannot take it and starts whining about how this "huuurts!" I drop him for twenty more and he starts to whine again. I repeat the process until he cannot go on...this is known as Muscle failure, not just of his upper body strength, but of his brain because by day two, he learns to shut-up,put-up and understand that the more he whines the more (gasp!) torture he will endure...Aw, did I say torutre, I meant physical conditioning, there might be hope yet, that he will see the error of his ways...hahahaha

Ah, Patches...
Rep. Patrick "Patches" Kennedy, D-RI, whose family purchased his position some time ago...er, got elected fair and square some time ago, was most recently in the news last spring when pinched in DC after bouncing off a couple of Jersey barriers near the Capitol.
Patches was immediately released once he explained to the Capitol police that he was on his way to a vote.
The fact that it was 2:00 a.m. at the time was apparently irrelevant.
The following week, Patches checked himself into rehab in MN for addiction to prescription medication and--go figure--alcohol.

Anyway, please forgive my repetition; must be the Alzheimer's kicking in. Or did I just say that?
The point that I'd LIKE to make is that Patches had apparently gone to Congress school when he got down to DC, which is where he learned about the 'get out of jail free' card.
It seems that some while ago legislation was passed that made it illegal to detain a legislator claiming to be on his way to a vote, regardless of circumstance.
Hence, some people just seem to slide on by.

A university official also said that Cho scribed writings so "disturbing" they were sent to administrators, a university official said Tuesday.
The official did not provide details about the writings, which first came to the attention of faculty in the English department, but said they were passed on to the department chairwoman and university administrators."

If those students had guns, they could have gunned him down, causing less casualties. But, no unarmed they were sitting ducks for this psycho.

This is to inform you that Purplegimp made a successful four hour journey to my home, and we are now holding top secret discussions on future operations.
Purplegimp and my goodself, Teadrinker, have put aside our skirts and are now wearing BDUs exclusively, which we fill out rather nicely with our exquisite female bodies.
And if that doesn't make Bradford run for the hills, nothing will.

I believe you are familiar with Peppermint's onlilne literary effort "The Diary of Juliet Smith" in which enemies (liberals) are typically shot in the head. We imagine one clean shot taken by an expert marksman. This seems to be your vision of the world: everybody on your side armed and shooting other people in the head, thus controlling society. Do you understand at all that millions upon millions of good people on this earth disagree with you?
I thought you two would get some laughs from these two lib posts.

I think he wanted publicity obviously, why send all this stuff to NBC if not. Also, his manifesto wanders aimlessly about revenge but names no one in particular.

Are you saying that people who have guns and enjoy shooting/hunting are "gun nuts" and are therefor eligible for "special treatment"?
Let's see: Cho had two guns, purchased legally, for less than 5 months. He wasn't, as far as I know, a "gun nut". He was a plain old everyday nut, though. Yet Bradford, with his liberal mindset, claims that long-time gun owners are the real danger.
Annually, there are about 7,000 murders committed using handguns in the USA. The vast majority are the "crime of passion" type (domestic violence/bar fight, etc.), not the planned execution perpetrated by the psychotic Cho.
For your homework assignment, Bradford, you will research and report how many "gun nuts" murder innocent citizens annually. I know you'll be busy "entertaining" the Mossad, but try to turn it in on time.
For extra credit, research the number of murders committed annualy by NRA members and/or licensed for concealed carry citizens.
P.S., note that all murders are homocides but not all hommocides are murders.

That comment on the Malking thread was written by a doofus Critical Bill, who is a loon lefty from Britain. No one puts any stock in anything he says.
And, me, I just laugh at it. CB only posted that because he hates my guts, which to me is hilarious.

..don't assume I'm anti gun. I do find people who *love* guns a bit creepy, I'll admit. This is probably because I was raised in a gun-free household (although my Dad was a cop) and, apart from a couple trips to the shooting range when I was a teen, am generally unfamiliar with them.
"Yet Bradford, with his liberal mindset, claims that long-time gun owners are the real danger."
Nope, never said this. Most gun owners are law-abiding citizens. There are, however, about 200 million guns in the US. There's a reason the US leads the world in gun-related violence. "Gun nuts" seem to hate any kind of restriction on their right to bear arms, even if it means they can't buy the latest automatic weapon. Any talk of gun control is viewed as some kind of communist conspiracy to subdue the citizenry.
I agree that an armed people is a free people; but let's face it, none of you all are going to be taking on the might of the federal government any time soon (unless you have a death wish, so all this 'Don't Tread on Me' talk is mostly just that--talk.

Well, I'm glad to see that you realize I wasn't calling Cho a jihadist. Hey, where did I say you worship Hillary or Gore?

On guns, why should the gubmint be involved in taking our guns away. We have the right to bear arms under the Constitution. The 2nd Amendment is you can recall. I'm not a blame Islam first person as you can see.
First of all, I don't believe an Islamic radical attack at a school would be done like Cho did.
So, I really never thought it was a radical jihadist.
It was creepy though to see the guy on that tape trying to look like one. It was pathetic and the news outlets should not even show it, giving the evil doer, Cho, the publicity he wanted. It is sick.
I hope the news outlets stop playing it over and over. We all got the msg the first time.
I feel sorry for this guy's parents. They have to live with this horror their son did and they had nothing to do with it. But, who is going to have any compassion for them? Cho didn't give a thought to anyone else but himself, not even what he would do to his parents.
He took a lot of lives and caused untold grief for those families who lost their loved ones.
He is no hero, but a big coward who couldn't face his own problems.
