Great post and some good information.

Great with the cars. During the Big 3 going to Washington, I wanted them to talk about that. I remember back when gas was $4 and $5 (in CA), there were articles on this small car that Ford had that got 65 miles to the gallon. But, no can't be sold here. Why not? Because of all the restrictions, etc., in Washington. I wish this had come more to light.

I heard about the Toyota, but not the Mini Cooper. Wow - 85 miles to the gallon.
