Hail to the Chief: Rush Limbaugh?

There is far too much credit given to talk radio. Is talk radio an effective media? Certainly. But, it doesn't have the clout the internet has. NumbersUSA was more influential on the immigration drama than Rush or Sean. Many people I know who listen to talk radio criticize
the various hosts more than praise them.
All radio personalities have their lap-dogs, but by and large solid conservatives do not need Rush, Sean, Laura, Savage, Oreilly or any other quasi media idol to inform them or guide them.
I tire of the constant commercials or product sales that dominate these shows. That is one reason I listen so little.
Many of these Johnny come latelies are too commercial to give any lasting credibility.
Be a special listener for only $49.95 a year. Get real. What true conservative is going to waste $49.95 to be a special buddy to some radio guru wannabe?
The very nature of conservatism is independent thought, not idol worship.
I say keep up the talk radio parade, but do not forget who YOU are.
